WCSX Presents 6th Annual People Helping People Campaign

Beasley Media Group has announced that its WCSX-FM (Detroit) is presenting The 6th Annual People Helping People campaign in an effort to assist families in Metro Detroit who are facing challenges during the holidays.

The campaign began on November 23 and continues through December 11.  Listeners are encouraged to nominate families in need on the air and at WCSX.com. The Big Jim’s House Morning Show will share requests they receive on behalf of needy families and connect them with the appropriate business donors.

In addition, anyone interested in making an individual donation is encouraged to visit WCSX.com to review a complete list of requests.

People Helping People is a way to assist those families who may have fallen through the cracks of agencies that could normally help out. The goal is to match up friends and neighbors in need with friends and neighbors who can help. “We have a saying on the show that no one can help everyone…but EVERYONE can help someone;” said Big Jim, host of WCSX’s Big Jim’s House Morning Show. “That’s the mindset behind People Helping People.”

This year’s program is presented by Pizza Hut and 94.7 WCSX-FM.
