WCMU Hosts Conversation on ‘COVID Virus & Vaccines’
According to a press release from WCMU Public Media, new data about how the spread was impacted by the holiday season will be presented and the discussion will include vaccine distributions and expectations with the Biden administration.
“WCMU Pop-Up conversations are an important way to discuss important issues of the day,” says WCMU Public Radio’s News Director, Amy Robinson. “And right now, few issues are more important than the coronavirus. We will talk with top health officials about the latest news on COVID vaccines, and we’ll explore data on how the holiday season affected case numbers. As always, we welcome questions from our audience.”
Attending the WCMU Public Media virtual discussion are three guest panelists: Emily Toth Martin, PhD, MPH, Associate Professor, Epidemiology, University of Michigan; Lisa Peacock, MSN, RN, WHNP-BC, Health Officer, Health Department of Northwest Michigan and the Benzie-Leelanau District Health Department; and Jennifer Morse, MD, MPH, FAAFP, Medical Director at Central Michigan District Health Dept., Mid-Michigan District Health Department and District Health Department #10.
Virtual attendees were invited to ask questions to panelists about their concerns.
