Beasley Media Group’s WCSX to Air Bob Seger’s First Ever Recorded Song
Seger originally recorded the song, which was about the same girl he wrote about in his big hit, “Night Moves” back in 1961, was recorded with a band called “The Decibels” while he was in High School. It aired only once in Ann Arbor.
It was only played once on the air and six acetate copies were reportedly made by him (three for the band – three for radio stations).
“This is Seger history for all his fans, said Big Jim. “It’s been a quest to find this song for years, and we’re honored to have the blessing of Bob Seger’s management to share it with everyone!”
