WNMU-TV Welcomes Ellen Doan as New MLC Engagement Coordinator

Northern Michigan University’s WNMU-TV has announced that Ellen Doan has joined the station as Engagement Coordinator for the Michigan Learning Channel.

The Michigan Learning Channel is a statewide public television partnership offering instructional content to support the education of students and to provide alternative resources for families and teachers. Designed to enrich school learning, the instructional content is aligned with Michigan’s educational standards and follows widely accepted sequences for mastering skills throughout the school year.

Doan’s role is to connect learners and families to the content available on the MLC via school and community outreach and partnerships. She will be instrumental in bringing the channel’s many opportunities into homes across the Upper Peninsula.

Doan is a 2005 and 2007 graduate of Northern Arizona University with BA and MA degrees in English Education and Teaching English as a Second Language.
