WDRQ Moves Kennedy to Afternoon Drive

Cumulus Media’s WDRQ-FM (Detroit) has moved midday personality Kevin Kennedy to afternoons.  He replaces Bill “Broadway” Bertschinger, who left the station last week.  Kennedy arrived at WDRQ in December of last year after having worked with Cumulus Detroit Director of FM Programming David Corey in Boston, doing afternoons at Country WKLB-FM for four years until his departure in 2019.

When he arrived at WDRQ, Corey told All Access that, “Kevin is a massive talent, and we are lucky to have him.”

The station is currently seeking a new midday personality to fill the hole left with Kennedy’s move to afternoons.
