On February 15, MAB President/CEO Sam Klemet joined the Society of Professionals Journalists Detroit Chapter in a discussion about the importance of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and what can be done in Michigan to improve transparency.

Chastity Pratt, an SPJ Detroit Board Member who works for The Wall Street Journal, moderated the panel and is also Lisa McGraw from the Michigan Press Association, Gary Miles from The Detroit News and State Sen. Ed McBroom.
