Lauren Piesko

Gray Television's WNEM-TV (Bay City/Saginaw) has announced that Lauren Piesko has joined its news staff. Piesko, an Oakland County native is a 2021 Central Michigan University Broadcast/Cinematic Arts graduate with a Journalism/Political Science minor.

Piesko anchors the weekend morning newscasts, Saturday and Sundays 7:00 - 9:00 a.m. and also serves as a field reporter. Prior to joining WNEM, she served as weekend news anchor/reporter at NEWSnet, based in Cadillac and Farmington Hills.  After graduation, she worked a year as a reporter for WWTV/WWUP-TV (Cadillac).

During her time at CMU, she served as reporter/anchor for the school's News Central 34 and was also News Director of the student radio station.

In the announcement, the station notes that she is newly-married with her and her husband tying the knot this past summer.
