This past October, WLEN-FM/WQTE-FM and 96.5 The Cave, along with community partners, spent 10 days collecting gently used coats and blankets to “Keep Lenawee Warm.”

The stations have just released this years totals:  the community donated 1,774 total items, with 497 of those items being coats. The coats and blankets are professionally cleaned at Adrian Dry Cleaners, and are distributed through Associated Charities of Lenawee County.

Drop off points for donated coats and blankets were set up throughout the station's coverage area including Faith Baptist Church in Adrian, Tuckey’s Big Boy in Tecumseh, Fall Fest at The Centre, Living in Lenawee Realty in Tecumseh, all branches of TLC Community Credit Union, Adrian Dry Cleaners and at the WLEN studios.
