Alice Cooper to Host WCSX Night Shift
March 15, 2024
Superadio Networks’ has announced Beasley Media Classic Rock WCSX-FM (Detroit) will add the syndicated “Alice’s Attic” with host Alice Cooper to their daily lineup. Cooper, who was born and raised in Detroit began his music career while in high school after a family move to Phoenix, AZ.
WCSX’s Scott Jameson said, “Alice Cooper takes listeners behind the velvet rope for interesting anecdotes about our rock heroes bringing the songs we love to life. Sure, the music is great, but his storytelling makes it best in class for today’s Classic Rock stations.”
The show will also debut in Chicago on WDRV-FM as well as a number of other radio stations around the country.
Alice’s Attic marks the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer’s return to the airwaves shortly after concluding his previous two-decade run with USRN, Nights With Alice Cooper, in September 2023. This new venture retains the creative essence and team from the former show. The show has also secured affiliates in Australia and plans to expand to Canadian and UK markets soon.
WDRV Brand & Content Director Keith Hastings added, “We’re in the business of creating great content to wrap around great music, so it makes great sense to have one of rock’s greatest creators grab a mic and share his stories. Alice Cooper does rock radio like few of his peers can, with a twisted sense of humor and the intrigue of a classic rock musician. Superadio makes it easy to bring the well produced and compelling show “Alice’s Attic” to your station and raise the game for the entire market.”
