This past Thursday night (8/22), Cumulus Media's WDVD-FM (Detroit) held their annual "Baby Bash" event at District 142 in Wyandotte.  The annual event supports the Glamourous Moms Foundation, which works to support, inspire, and build confidence in women, expectant mothers, and their children, to enhance their quality of life.

The foundation provides care baskets for new moms who don’t have a support system. Items to fill the baskets can be donated during the Baby Bash. Items needed include white or yellow baby caps, white baby socks or booties, white infant onesies, adult hair brushes, facial scrubs for mom, hand lotion, foot lotion, baby toys, and more.  Donations of items to fill these "New Mom Baskets" were solicited at the show.

The bash included a performance by music artist Sarah Reeves. Admission was just a five dollar donation to the Glamorous Moms Foundation.
