Michigan Public's long-running Issues & Ale - It’s Just Politics series will be traveling to Grand Rapids on December 10 to host a session called Politics Year in Review at Founders Brewing Company.

Issues and Ale is an event series from Michigan Public designed to engage people in conversations about important issues facing Michigan in an informal atmosphere and mixes political talk in a relaxed forum at breweries and pubs throughout the state in the markets served by the station's network of signals.

Michigan Public's Zoe Clark and Michigan Public Radio Network's Rick Pluta are hosts of the series.  Both Clark and Pluta host It's Just Politics, a weekly look at Michigan politics on the station.

The Grand Rapids event will review the past year, including discussion on the Presidential election, the election of two state Supreme Court justices, the U.S. Senate race as well as changed the make-up of the state House of Representatives.
