Christy L’Esperance Joins IPR Classical as Morning Host and Producer

Interlochen Public Radio has announced that Christy L'Esperance has joined Classical IPR as the Morning Host and Producer of Programming for children and families.
L'Esperance (pronounced "LESS-per-ahns") comes to northern Michigan from Kansas City, MO, where she spent nearly two years at University of Missouri-Kansas City's Classical KC as Community Engagement Specialist/On-Air Host. Prior to that, L'Esperance was a classical radio announcer and producer at Northern Illinois University's WNIU-FM. She also worked at Iowa Public Radio as an announcer and board operator.
In addition to her radio work, she has also run a private studio, teaching a full roster of piano, music theory and music composition students. L'Esperance holds a Bachelors of Music, Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Iowa.
