Nexstar Media's WXSP-TV (Grand Rapids) has announced that it will air three Laker basketball doubleheaders this month, starting this Saturday, February 8, with the games against Ferris State. The other two dates are Saturday, February 22 versus SVSU and Tuesday, February 25 against Davenport. All doubleheaders will start with the women playing first, followed by the men's game.

Saturday's women's game against Ferris State will tip-off at 1:00, with the men scheduled for a 3:00 tip. The women's game will feature the top two teams in the GLIAC, as GVSU is a perfect 12-0 and Ferris State is 9-3. The men's game has two of the top six conference teams, with the Bulldogs in third and the Lakers in sixth.

WXSP serves as the exclusive live in-market television partner for the Lakers.  WXSP can be found on all local cable systems as well as a series of low-power channels across the region, including in Grand Rapids (WOLP channel 27), Holland (WOHO channel 33), Muskegon (WOMS channel 29), Kalamazoo (WOKZ channel 50) and Battle Creek (WOBC channel 14).
