Josh Berry Joins WXMI

Scripps Media’s WXMI-TV (Grand Rapids) has announced that Josh Berry has joined the station as reporter/co-anchor on the station’s 6, 10 & 11 p.m. newscasts.  He’ll be teamed with longtime WXMI anchor Janice Allen. Berry joins the station after serving just over 4-1/2 years as news anchor at WOLO-TV in Columbia, South Carolina.

Prior to WOLO, he was a weekend anchor and reporter at both KLRT-TV and KARK-TV in Little Rock, Arkansas.  The Dallas native has a Bachelor’s Degree from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.  Berry has an extensive catalog of major news stories he’s covered, including several weather events like hurricanes, deadly tornadoes and massive wildfires. He’s also spent time following presidential candidates and reporting from both Democratic and Republican National Conventions.
