WMQT/WZAM Owner Tom Mogush Reflects on Career and U.P. Radio
This week, WLUC-TV’s Don Ryan sat down with WMQT/WZAM (Marquette) owner Tom Mogush to talk about the upcoming plans for his stations and more. Mogush recently announced that he is selling his stations to the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community. Both Mogush and longtime station personlity/Program Director Jim Koski have said they intend to stay on with the stations after the sale closes. Mogush has been on the radio for almost 41 years.
Among the highlights of the interview, Ryan and Mogush talked about their memories of Joe Blake (who passed away in 2004), covering some big NMU hockey games, along with some U.P. radio history.
