MAB: If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
Nikki: Pay for my oldest daughter's wedding, and buy my youngest daughter a car and pay for her college.

MAB: If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
Nikki: Play guitar.

MAB: What is your favorite comfort food?
Nikki: Chocolate!!!

MAB: If you could be an animal, what would you be?
Nikki: A cat.

MAB: If you could visit any time in history, where would you go?
Nikki: The 1970s so I could get to know my parents.

MAB: Do you have any tips or tricks you’d like to share with other traffic directors?
Nikki: Doing traffic can be very, very stressful at times. (especially Fridays!) I recommend on those crazy, busy, hectic days to take a deep breath, stay focused and always double check your work. More often than not, mistakes happen when you rush through things because you feel like you will never be done because the workload can be so heavy. I feel like having a clear mind in times like that, the job will work itself out correctly. Lately, I have started a quick 10 minute meditation routine prior to jumping into my daily traffic routine. It helps! Also, listening to music while I am scheduling helps move things along easier and makes it fun.

Lastly, I recommend listening to the stations you schedule...listen to your stop sets to see how they flow with the stations you're working. I take a lot of pride in what I do, and hearing the end result is like a little pat on the back!"
