Gray Television's WILX-TV (Lansing) is partnering with the Capital Area Diaper Bank this week to bring awareness to the diaper/incontinence insecurity that exists in our Mid-Michigan. All week long, WILX is collecting donations at their studios as well as two sponsor locations in the Lansing area.  Viewers to the station can also donate through the station's Make an Impact Amazon Wish List.

The Capital Area Diaper Bank is a non-profit, operated completely by volunteers, that supplies baby diapers and incontinence supplies at no charge to homeless and low-income families, as well as seniors and those with disabilities. The diapers are distributed through a network of community partners agencies, hospitals, and churches.

The station also opened up their phone bank on Thursday (6/20) to raise money for the project. The station had volunteers on hand to answer calls and take donations over the phone to purchase products in need.
