WRFH & WDBM Winners at CBI National Student Production Awards

On October 29, the winners have been named at the annual national College Broadcasters, Inc. (CBI) National Student Production Awards and two Michigan college radio stations are recipients of honors.
Hillsdale College's WRFH (Radio Free Hillsdale) picked up awards in these categories:
First Place
Lauren Smith: Best Newscast or Sportscast (Lauren Smyth News)
Logan Washburn, Ty Ruddy, Alex Deimel, Erin Osborne and Jane Kitchen: Best Documentary Long Form [Video] (The Prison Games)
Second Place
Gavin Listro, Bella Dix, Ally Hall: Best Regularly Scheduled Entertainment Program (I’ve Got Aux)
Fourth Place
Evan Mick: Best Sports Reporting (“The Life of a Kicker”)
Hillsdale notes that WRFH students have now picked up six national first-place awards over the years.

Best Social Media Presence ("Impact 89 Social Media")

Best Hard News Reporting ("MSU Elects Dr. Kevin Guskiewicz as New President")
Best Special Broadcast ("Behind the Mics: The First Broadcast: February 24, 1989")
