On November 5, Hillsdale College's WRFH-FM (Hillsdale) broadcast team hosted a live broadcast from the Searle Center on the College’s campus and invited students, faculty, and staff to join to watch election results roll in and listen to analysis. Student anchors were joined by the presidents of Hillsdale College Republicans and Hillsdale College Democrats, three members of the Hillsdale faculty, a candidate for Michigan State House, a candidate for Michigan Supreme Court, and reporters from The Detroit News, The Daily Caller, The Center Square, and The Daily Signal.

Back at the WRFH studios, the station's news team worked to update listeners on state and local races all night long. More than 200 people came out to see the station in action.  It was declared "a home-run event" in a station press release!
