Jeremy Fenech Joins WCRZ-FM/Cars 108
January 24, 2025
In a series of Facebook posts this week, Flint area Program Director/Air Personality Jeremy Fenech announced that after nearly 9 years, he has left Krol Communication's WRSR-FM (Owosso-Flint), following his air shift on Tuesday (1/21). Fenech writes, "I cannot express enough, my gratitude for Rod Krol and the team at Krol Communications for welcoming me in eight years and 10 months ago. Running WRSR for all of these years has been an absolute dream and I couldn’t have done it without my amazing team of coworkers and air staff that made the last nine years so delightful. I will look back on this chapter in my career with nothing but the fondest of memories! Now let’s go have some fun one more time!"
This was followed up the following day, with Fenech announcing in another Facebook post, "I’m going home!!! I am thrilled to announce that I will be returning to the radio station that I started at when I was 15 years old. I am returning to Cars 108 (WCRZ-FM/Flint) in early February. I’m so excited to stay in my hometown and return to the station where it all began back in 1994! I can’t wait to work with the amazing team over there most of whom I have known for decades! Here’s to the next chapter in my radio career!"
Fenech has been in radio over 30 years, having started his broadcasting career as a teen running talk shows on an AM station in Flint. After moving to Evansville, Indiana in the late ‘90s and enjoying a very successful programming job there, Jeremy returned to Flint in 2003 and has since been heard on the air at almost every station in town. He joined Krol Communication's WRSR-FM in 2016.
