WKQZ-FM and PD Matt Bingham Break Mid-Michigan Fundraising Record for the American Cancer Society’s Annual Men Wear Pink Campaign to Fight Breast Cancer

Z93 set a new fundraising record for Mid-Michigan, landing Bingham and the station in the Top 30 Men Wear Pink ambassadors nationwide. Together, they have participated in Men Wear Pink for the last six years, raising a total of more than $90,000, which helps fuel a live 24/7 helpline for answers and support, breakthrough breast cancer research, and much more.

Site Safety Assessments

In an effort to help provide protection to broadcasters in Michigan, the MAB and Michigan State Police Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Desk are partnering to help broadcast stations ensure safety for their staff and facilities by offering Station Site Safety Assessments that will evaluate and make practical recommendations of security operations at broadcast stations.

Alternative Broadcast Inspections

The Alternative Broadcast Inspection Program (ABIP) is a unique partnership between the MAB and the FCC to ensure compliance with federal regulations and to avoid surprise inspections. Stations that pass the inspection receive a three-year Certification of Compliance.
