WCMU & IPR Team for Line 5 Community Resource Project
WCMU Public Media (Mt. Pleasant) and Interlochen Public Radio (Interlochen) have announced the launch of a joint reporting project on the history of the Line 5 pipeline in the Straits of Mackinac.

This past Thursday (10/10), Krol Communication’s WHMI-FM (Howell), in partnership with American Legion Devereaux Post 141 held a day long Hurricane Relief Drive to benefit those impacted by Hurricane Helene. The drive, hosted by WHMI Morning Show hosts Chuck Edwards & Madison June on Thursday took place live at the Legion post from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Country Music Association (CMA) has announced the recipients of its 2024 Broadcast Awards and Audacy’s WYCD-FM (Detroit) received top honors as the Major Market Station-of-the-Year. The station competed with four other stations throughout the country in the Major Market category. “The 58th Annual CMA Awards,” hosted by Luke Bryan, Peyton Manning and Lainey Wilson, will air live on ABC-TV from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Wednesday, November 20.
