Site Safety Assessments

In an effort to help provide protection to broadcasters in Michigan, the MAB and Michigan State Police Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Desk are partnering to help broadcast stations ensure safety for their staff and facilities by offering Station Site Safety Assessments that will evaluate and make practical recommendations of security operations at broadcast stations.

Alternative Broadcast Inspections

The Alternative Broadcast Inspection Program (ABIP) is a unique partnership between the MAB and the FCC to ensure compliance with federal regulations and to avoid surprise inspections. Stations that pass the inspection receive a three-year Certification of Compliance.

Great Lakes Broadcast & Sports Media Academy

The MAB and the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) partner to help students launch careers in media at the Great Lakes Broadcast & Sports Media Academy. The full-day event allows students interested in a career in media to connect with Michigan TV and Radio stations during a career fair, network with peers, and learn from some of the industry's leading talent in every aspect of media - on-air, engineering, sales, programming, and production.
